Create a backup before you clear anything.
Open Data & backup and choose Create backup. Select the contacts you want to keep, then enter and confirm a password. The app creates a password-encrypted .imicall file locally.
Store the file and password securely. There is no cloud recovery and no forgotten-password reset. Anyone with both the file and password can restore the invitations inside it.
Restore in the new browser.
Open ImiCall in the destination browser. In Data & backup, choose Restore backup, select the file and unlock it with the password. Review new, existing and conflicting contacts before merging.
Restoring a contact does not automatically place a call. Open the connection and verify it with the intended person. Browser microphone and notification permissions must be configured separately on the new device.
Deleting is local. Revoking is different.
Removing a contact deletes your local copy. It does not delete the other person’s copy or invalidate a previously exported invitation.
If both people delete a connection and later restore matching backups, the old shared invitation can restore access to that line. This is expected: the secret is still the same.
For an invitation that was leaked or should no longer be used, create a new connection, share its new invitation with the intended person and stop using the old one. Don’t treat deletion as remote revocation.
Transfer a voice preset separately.
Voice presets contain effect settings, not a voice recording. In voice settings, adjust the controls, explicitly save a preset and export its JSON file.
Import on the other browser, review the preset and choose Use in editor. Save if you want to keep it. Apply is a separate action; importing or saving does not automatically activate an effect. Effects begin off in a new app session.
Build a preset by changing one control at a time and listening to the result. Keep natural-voice mixing in mind: an effect is a creative audio choice, not a guarantee that someone cannot identify you.
Clear the app data you no longer need.
Data & backup offers Clear all ImiCall data. It removes saved contacts, presets and offline caches and disables alert subscriptions for that browser. Make any backup you need first.
Other devices, downloaded exports, shared links and recipient copies remain outside this browser’s control. For a session you do not want to save in the first place, use the temporary-session option.
